Recipe for baking bread from Baker PKU mix:


Traditional method:
Ingredients: 500g Baker's mix, approx 440ml warm water (approx 30), 2 tbsp oil, 20g sugar, 7g instant yeast (Dr Oetker) or 20-30g fresh yeast, 5g salt. Mix all ingredients thoroughly (with a mixer for approx 5 minutes). Pour the prepared dough into a mould greased with oil, cover with a dry cloth and leave in a warm place (temperature about 25) for about 45 minutes. The dough should double in volume. Brush the dough with water before putting it in the preheated oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 220˚C. Remove the bread from the tin immediately after baking.


Bake in an automatic oven:
Ingredients. After approx. 2 hours, remove the finished bread - this applies to Panasonic ovens, for other ovens set the standard 3 hour bread baking programme.
